About the Artist 

Kazuka Kuwahara handcrafts all of her pieces in her studio in Boston, Massachusetts. She is inspired by lines and shapes to create complicated patterns that are aesthetically pleasing. Colored stones are carefully selected to compliment each other and are then set into her symmetrical patterns. She mixes urban elements with nature, creating pieces that are classic and timeless. 

In 2021, her undying love for nature led her to create the “Botanical Series”. For each piece purchased from the “Botanical Series” she pledges to plant one tree with the help of “One Tree Planted”.

Trees clean our air and water, create habitats for biodiversity, contribute to our health and wellbeing, and create jobs for social impact. Kazuka is honored to have reforestation through “One Tree Planted” as an integral part of her business. Kazuka would like to inspire the change she would like to see in the world, one tree and one jewelry piece at a time.

About “One Tree Planted”

One Tree Planted is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on a mission to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees. Their projects span the globe and are done in partnership with local communities and knowledgeable experts to create an impact for nature, people, and wildlife. Reforestation helps to rebuild forests after fires and floods, provide jobs for social impact, and restore biodiversity.
